The Satisfaction of the Shade

The Tinted Mire is miles upon miles of seemingly endless swampland, but Baron Omiris Rallakis plans to drain the Mire and mine the region’s rich and untouched resources.

Erecting the town of Polderport has taken nearly a decade and now, so close to the completion of his dreams, Rallakis will do anything to succeed. That includes hiring men to murder his own so, Fortius, to avoid the young man from revealing a dangerous secret. 

Little does the Baron know that Fortius’ angry and vengeful soul has been turned into something incredibly dangerous. A wraith, a powerful undead bent on ruining his father’s plans, shaming and finally murdering him. 

The Satisfaction of the Shade is a five-part adventure that takes a characters from 1st-4th Level.


The Lifeless Windmills of Polderport

Part 1 of the Satisfaction of the Shade series

The Lifeless Windmills of Polderport is a 5th Edition adventure for 3-6 characters of 1st-level and is optimized for a party of four characters with an average party level (APL) of 1. This adventure sees the party investigating and repairing a collection of windmills while facing a variety of undead monsters. Although this adventure is part of the larger Satisfaction of the Shade adventure series, you are free to place it into any setting that makes sense to your campaign.


Shrine of the Malus Tree

Part 2 of the Satisfaction of the Shade series

The Shrine of the Malus Tree is a 5th Edition adventure for 3-7 characters of 2nd-level and is optimized for a party of four characters with an average party level (APL) of 2. Characters who complete this adventure should earn enough experience to reach 3rd level.  This adventure sees the party searching a swamp to rescue an NPC, only to discover that the NPC is working for the villain and that the villain is not all they appear to be. Although this adventure is part of the larger Satisfaction of the Shade adventure series, you can find the adventure in DMDave’s fantastic Broadsword Magazine #18.

This adventure sees the party attempting to escape a dungeon in time to reach the town of Polderport before it is attacked by a powerful monster. Although this adventure is part of the larger Satisfaction of the Shade adventure series, you are free to place it into any setting that makes sense to your campaign. 


Twilight over Polderport

Finale of the Satisfaction of the Shade series

Twilight over Polderport is a 5th Edition adventure for 3-6 characters of 4th-level and is optimized for a party of four characters with an average party level (APL) of 4. This adventure sees the party racing to stop a monster from destroying the town of Polderport. It offers the party a moral quandary to solve. Although this adventure is part of the larger Satisfaction of the Shade adventure series, you are free to place it into any setting that makes sense to your campaign.
